About Our Site Prep Work

Full site prep for new builds — clear, strip, cut, fill, compact, and stub utilities. Building-pad ready when we leave.

Site prep is the foundation under the foundation. We take a raw lot or a tear-down and turn it into a level, compacted, drained, building-ready pad with utilities stubbed where the plans say they go. Builders call us because we don't hold up the framers.

Site Prep FAQs

  • How long does site prep take for a new home?

On a clean residential lot, 3–7 working days. Wooded lots with significant clearing or tear-downs can run 2–3 weeks. Weather is the wild card in Kentucky spring.

  • Do you coordinate with the surveyor and builder?

Yes — we work directly off the builder's plot plan and the surveyor's stakes. We won't move dirt without pins in the ground.

  • Will you install the construction entrance and silt fence?

Yes. Both are required by Jefferson County and most surrounding jurisdictions before you start vertical construction. We install per the SWPPP.

  • Can you handle demolition of an existing structure?

Yes for most residential structures. We pull the demo permit, disconnect utilities through the utility companies, knock it down, and haul it off.
